Evelyn V. Moreno
Evelyn Moreno is the Chair of the Trust Committee of Watch Point Trust Company.
Ms. Moreno is a partner in Nixon Peabody LLP’s Private Clients Group. She counsels individual clients in sophisticated estate planning matters, including gift, estate and income tax planning. She advises personal representatives and trustees in connection with the administration of estates and trusts. Ms. Moreno serves as trustee of several private trusts. She also counsels nonprofit organizations with respect to structuring, obtaining tax exempt status, and ongoing tax and legal issues. She has extensive experience in the reformation and termination of charitable trusts.
Ms. Moreno has been recognized as a “New England Super Lawyer” in Estate Planning and Probate based on a peer-review survey by Boston Magazine (2007–2014). She was also selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (2010–2015) in the area of Trusts and Estates. Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based on a peer-review survey.

She is a contributing author to A Practical Guide to Estate Planning (MCLE, Inc. 1996 & Supp. 2015), Understanding and Using Trusts (MCLE, Inc. 2001 & Supp. 2011), and Preparing Fiduciary Income, Gift and Estate Tax Returns (MCLE, Inc. Supp 2014).
Ms. Moreno is President of the Board of Directors of Family Service of Greater Boston, Inc.; a member of the Greater Boston Fiduciary American Inn of Court; a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council; and a member of the Planned Giving Committee of Catholic Charities of Greater Boston.
